bell. As we all gather around the chuckwagon, plates are loaded with an
abundance of cowboy-cooked grub. While eating under our covered “Outdoor
Pavilion” located in the tall oaks and next to our asparagus field. Some
history and folklore is spun for your enjoyment. Forks start to flyin’
as our guests chow down on beef, beans, tators, onion salad, corn on the

and Ben Jack’s own Raspberry Mist Tea! Then topped off with good ole
fashioned country cobbler. We always make sure no one goes away hungry!

Nashoba Simmons, his wife RaeAnn and their children Skylar & Desa-Rae
will re-enact and entertain you with their Native dancing and tribal
customs and history. (Cameras are necessary here)
From there
your group will take a 5-minute break walking down to “The Lonesome Kettle Amphitheatre” where our entertainment is all new
this year. We are proud to bring you one hour of powerful music and a
little slapstick comedy featuring the “The Homesteaders“, performing
their famous “Cowboy Campmeeting” show.
This professional Southern
Gospel quartet was founded in 1998. In May of 2000 the group received a
citation from the Oklahoma Legislature naming them as Oklahoma’s
Ambassadors of Gospel Music. Since that time they have received national
acclaim by having songs in the Singing News Top 80 charts, plus their
latest radio release "He's Still On Board". This song has been
nominated for a Dove Award as "Best Southern Gospel Recorded Song"
for 2004. They have performed in some of the smallest churches as
well as large concerts halls and on cruise ships. It will be hard for
you to sit still as a great performance of toe tapping and
soul-searching music from Gospel music to Great Old Cowboy Tunes
permeates our beautiful covered pavilion with an outdoor setting.
Everyone young and younger (grin) will truly enjoy this full
sixty-minute superb performance.
Once the show is over, the group will return to the Big River Emporium
to make purchases or sample some more of Ben Jack Larado's Gourmet
Foods. As our guest’s head out the front door and board their coach, we
present each one with a Dofunnie Bag (this is the bag that a cowboy uses
to carry all his useless trinkets in), packed with a few surprises and a
Big River Emporium catalog. All the hands will be waving a fond
farewell from the porch as you depart to continue your tour.
If you
have booked to continue your tour to visit the Hoepfner's Kiwi Farm, Sailing Horse
Winery and Eufaula’s Inspiration Gardens your driver will be furnished a
map to continue your Oklahoma Agri tourism tour.
